battle beasts

This is the beginning of yet another collection, only have 11 Battle Beasts but a collection has to start somewhere............only 65 left to collect !!!!!

This little Horny Toad really has been in the wars. He fought valiantly but lost his arm, his foe, a rather large ferocious dog............now his battling days are over & he is safe with me & his fellow beasts.

The 1st Series of Battle Beasts contained 28 figures.

These initially came out in 1984 and started the craze. They are individually numbered on their back. Their weapons ranged from silver, to bronze to grey.
Battle Beasts were small 1.5" tall figures released by Hasbro.. Each beast had a heat sensitive sticker on his chest. When rubbed, it would reveal if the Battle Beast was Fire, Wood or Water.
